Wasteland Cabs 40BA - FREE PACK

The Worse, The Better!

Captured from a vintage Stagg 40BA bass combo, this impulse response pack delivers a gritty, heavy, and character-driven tone — perfect for rock, doom, sludge, and stoner styles. The goal isn’t perfection, but personality: a beautifully “ugly” sound that cuts through the mix with raw attitude. Recorded with five different microphones, including some cheap and unconventional ones, this pack offers a truly unique and unpredictable tone that breathes distortion, dirt, and soul.

Don't be fooled, this is a bass guitar cabinet, but it works great on the dirty guitar. It's very focused on the mids and cuts through any mix very well.

SM57 - This is the microphone that everyone already knows, the industry standard and a reference for many people. It's in the pack to be something familiar.
e945 - A microphone commonly used on vocals, it has a well-controlled frequency response.
KP-M0015 - A very cheap karaoke microphone. It has a veiled and softer sound.
R-330 - A capsule that may surprise you. Unfortunately it is not sold with a body (which is why it is mounted on PVC pipes). It has a very full-bodied bass, slightly hollowed mids and plenty of detail in the treble region.
SR-690 - It is also not sold with a body, it is just a capsule (which is why it is mounted on PVC pipes). It has a lot of bass, well-shaped mids and a very aggressive treble.
Thickner - It has 3 thickener IRs to add body to the sound
